March 6 - I will be flying from Atlanta to Amsterdam then to Delhi
March 7- Arrive in Delhi and wonder around
March 8- 10 Corbett National park: here we will be viewing wild animals such as tigers, elephants, crocodiles and other animals that I will most likely be bitten by.
March 10 - Drive to the Himilayas and then just stare at them in awe.
March 11 - Holi Day!! This is India's festival of colors where they celebrate love and spring and throw colors all over you. Apparently it is a BIG deal.
March 12- Rishikesh, we visit an ancient Hindu City.
March 13- Leave for Delhi and pick up fellow travelers.
March 14-17- Train to Bandhavgarh to check out some tigers...grrrr
March 17- Train to Agra and see the Taj Mahal!
----Fun Fact- The Taj is a tomb a prince made for his dead wife. Such a man thing to do, he probably felt bad about something he did hmm.
March 18- Viewing the Taj Mahal at sunset! (Picture below)... I will probably be swimming in the little channel thingy at some point as well. Then we are off to Baratpur bird reserves to view birds. The vulture which is almost extinct and because so is causing many sanitary and religious issues. thrilled.
March 19- More bird watching (or for me bird petting)....then its of to the city of Jaipur.
March 20-23- The National Park of Ranthanbhore to see more tigers which by the way they are only 1300 left of and will probably be extinct in our lifetime.
March 23- Back to Delhi for our last supper and our plane ride home.
March 24- Arriving in the morning in the US and then to classes after a 20 hour flight or something.
